Now, in order for you to be included in these once in a life time photos you must be on site at the Civitan Hall, Perth, Saturday, August 17 by 4 pm. There are no do-overs. During that time there are also events such as Celtic Knot tying, the O'Dooleys with history of Irish in Canada, Irish dancing and making memories with long lost family until we call your name. You will definitely not be bored.
During this time will be a lot of wrangling as individual branches will be called for family photographs, such as all descendants of John Mahon and Catherine Walsh; James Mahon and Mary Boshart, and so on. At the end of those calls everyone will gather for the ultimate photograph. All 150+ descendants of James and Ellen Mahon ranging in ages from two months old to 87 years young! That is one photograph you don't want to miss out on being a part of. Which reminds us to ask Jacqui if she has a wide-angle lens.
Plan on looking your purdiest, but more importantly, focus on you being you. How do you wish to be remembered and please no donkey ears behind your cousin, unless you really feel the need to. Give huge smiles and hugs to all around you because that is how family shows their love. We are always there for each other. Our family will be captured in celebration for the next generation to look on and point out their own ancestors, and this will be our legacy...
